Slyman's Tavern has developed a legacy in the Cleveland area, serving local customers for over 50 years. Through a collaborative design process with the Slyman's team, HSB worked to capture the nostalgia of the tried and true original locations within the next suburban venture. Material, fixture and furnishing selections pay homage to the original locations, while updated design schemes create a more contemporary space that better functions with the latest commercial kitchen trends. Most of the infrastructural elements of the existing site were kept, while the façade was completely re-imagined by re-skinning the building with new materials and refocusing the entry.
