HSB designed a full floor 25,000SF tenant space for MCI's Cleveland Regional Office that incorporates a modern, technology-oriented image for a leader in the competitive telecommunications industry. The design and construction was executed in less than three months for under $25 a square foot. Incorporating building system technologies - and omitting traditional finish work - helped define the space and maintain the budget. Ceilings were deleted in favor of exposed duct work, conduit and piping. Drywall was omitted allowing glass, metal, and wood walls, saving subsequent finish work and painting. A touch-screen video wall at the main reception area features MCI's emerging Internet access, e-mail and computer communications technologies.
