Project Description
Energizer worked with HSB to combine the recently acquired Rayovac Research & Development facility in Middleton, Wisconsin with their current R&D facility in Westlake. HSB was also tasked with re-stacking the current lab spaces to achieve a better process flow. The overall goal of the project was to streamline and integrate the equipment and processes from Wisconsin with those in Westlake, Ohio, all while allowing Energizer’s daily testing to remain in operation. This required extensive phasing and equipment analysis. An auto care wing with and exterior accessible garage and adjacent testing lab were also developed. The exterior glass overhead door provides both quick testing access and customer visibility. Collaboration areas infuse corporate colors and a modern take on the history of Energizer.
