Project Description

Sequoia Financial Group, one of the top financial advising groups in Ohio, came to HSB with the goal of merging and relocating their Columbus area offices to prepare for their future growth. Featured spaces include a welcoming lobby, several conference rooms and a large café that acts as the heart of the office and is used for all-hands meetings and catered luncheons.

The design direction was influenced by Sequoia’s recent brand refresh which brought a modernized identity to the firm. Deep muted blues were paired with abstract callbacks to natural elements, including strong stone patterns, woodgrains and copper tones. This color story worked in tandem with sleek architectural forms throughout the space. An important facet of the design was to incorporate Sequoia’s unique art collection, involving several custom conference tables and a prized geode collection.

Along with architecture and interior design, HSB provided additional services such as project management, furniture specification and signage coordination, which included designing specialty dedication signage for the main conference room.
